About SDS

Services Design Solution is a forward looking, dynamic consultancy specialising in sustainability and building services. They design innovative, flexible, energy-efficient solutions to create exceptional environments for living, work or leisure.

The business has grown rapidly since its formation in 2004, with offices in Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol and Cardiff. SDS invests significantly to develop its resources, systems and infrastructure to facilitate continued expansion of the company.

They are proud to have been a net carbon neutral business since 2019, and make active efforts to reduce their carbon emissions, adopting green travel policies and offsetting any remaining carbon emissions.

They are committed to social value and invest 1% of their annual turnover to support activities that provide benefit to their local communities and environment. Their commitment is to contribute towards meeting the UK Government’s Social Value Model, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the five themes set out by the National TOMs (Themes, Outcome and Measures) Framework.

In 2022 SDS was delighted to be recognised for its commitment to social value, being awarded the SME Organisational Leadership Award from the Social Value Portal, and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.
