About the event
This free two-hour workshop is aimed at helping business owners to get a broad overview of the key elements which go into setting up a website, the basics of SEO, getting the most out of Google tools and a range of useful tips on ways to get the most out of their website.
The workshop will cover:
- Website Basics - Choosing website names, hosting and platforms available.
- Choosing betweeing building your own and getting support from a professional web designer or a mixture of both
- A look at the key things needed on a website.
- About Site Engine Optimisation (SEO), tips and techniques for your website
- Google - How it works, what it can do for you - Business Profiles, Search, Analytics
- Tips on promoting your website to your customers
This event is part of the delivery programme for the Interreg-funded C-Care Project, in conjunction with the Plymouth Charter Spend Theme, supporting businesses in Plymouth to recover strongly from the recent economic crisis.
