Green Tourism Accreditation
Destination Plymouth has launched an new partnership with 'Green Tourism' to position Plymouth, Britain's Ocean City as a leading destination in sustainable tourism. The 3-year partnership gives eligible businesses the opportunity to achieve the internationally recognised ‘Green Tourism Standard’ while supporting them to recover and grow in an environmentally sustainable way.
There is nothing to pay for the first year if signed up before 30 June 2022, and successful partner businesses will also benefit from preferential annual fees in years two and three.

Plug in van grants
Will pay for 35% of the purchase price for eligible vehicles, up to £2500 for small vans and £5000 for large vans.

Offers up to £350 per charging socket for up to 40 sockets.

Electric vehicle home charging scheme
The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) provides grant funding of up to 75% towards the cost of installing electric vehicle smart chargepoints at domestic properties. From April 2022, this scheme will only be available to homeowners who live in flats or people in rental accommodation.

DPD Eco Fund
Anyone can apply for funding from the DPD Eco Fund, although it is particularly encouraged for community groups, educational facilities and start-up companies, with all applications needing to be of a green, ecological or sustainability nature, with the project benefiting the environment.
