The Mariners Guest House is owned by James and his wife, situated near the waterfront in Plymouth.

James initially became a member of the Plymouth Charter because it aligned with the values of the guest house, and he was eager to support the local economy while focusing on sustainability for the business.

Through working with The Plymouth Charter, James received help and support on embedding responsible, sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in his guest house. As a result, James has successfully attained the 'Green Tourism Award' at gold level.
