June Resurgam Sector Action Plan update

Plymouth City Council's Resurgam programme was launched in May 2020 as a direct response to the unprecedented economic shock caused by the global pandemic.

It is a highly ambitious forward moving action plan to support the city's economic recovery, to reduce the impact of Covid-19 and to deliver a more equal, sustainable and prosperous city post Covid-19.

One of the six key pillars of the Resurgam programme is Sector Action Plans. We are proud of our strong base of existing Plymouth partnerships across the 11 identified sectors and are working together to support each sector.

Each month the sector leads meet to update us on the current situation for each sector and the progress being made on their action plan for recovery and how we, Plymouth City Council, can support that action plan.

For June, updates were provided for the following sector hubs:

Skills Launchpad Plymouth will be hosting a four day event in the city centre in July for local residents to find out more about Skills Launchpad Plymouth with signposting to training, work experience, apprenticeships, Kickstart and job opportunities.
